Implementing Enterprise Network Solution for the E Exam Center for the Ministry of Higher Education of Egypt
The Ministry of Higher Education of Egypt is committed to providing a modernized and digitalized exam center for universities across the country. To achieve this, TOPTECH Egypt has been entrusted with the task of implementing an enterprise network solution that can handle the scale, performance, and security requirements of the E Exam Center. This case study outlines the successful implementation of the network solution using Huawei’s cutting-edge hardware, including Huawei Core Switches S5731H, Huawei Access Switches S5700 and S6700, and Huawei Cloud Campus Foundation.
The Ministry of Higher Education of Egypt had several key objectives for this project:
- Upgrade the existing network infrastructure to support a high volume of users accessing the E Exam Center simultaneously.
- Ensure the network’s reliability, scalability, and security to protect sensitive exam data.
- Enable seamless connectivity between exam centers and universities across the country.

TOPTECH proposed a comprehensive networking solution leveraging Huawei’s advanced networking equipment and the Huawei Cloud Campus Foundation. The design incorporated the following components:
- Huawei Core Switches S5731H: The core switches were deployed to provide high-performance switching capabilities, ensuring efficient data transfer and preventing bottlenecks.
- Huawei Access Switches S5700 and S6700: These access switches were strategically deployed across the exam centers and universities to provide reliable and secure access to the network. They offered high-density ports and PoE capabilities to accommodate a large number of connected devices.
- Huawei Cloud Campus Foundation: The cloud-based solution provided centralized network management, ensuring easy monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting across the entire network infrastructure. It also enabled seamless integration with other network services and offered advanced security features.
The implementation of the enterprise network solution followed a well-defined process:
- Assessment: TOPTECH Egypt conducted a thorough analysis of the existing network infrastructure, identifying gaps and requirements for the E Exam Center.
