JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and key pain points, ensuring a thorough understanding of their business needs.
  • Conduct in-depth technical discussions with potential clients to identify their cyber security challenges and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Participate in sales meetings and product presentations, delivering technical demos to highlight the functionality, features, and benefits of our cyber security solutions.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact to support the sales team in generating and qualifying leads, ensuring accurate understanding of customers’ technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s cybersecurity products, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Create and deliver technical proposals, documentation, and presentations that address customer challenges and align with their business goals.
  • Collaborate with the product development and engineering teams to provide feedback on product enhancements and improvements based on customer feedback and market demands.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, threats, and techniques in the field of cyber security to provide expert recommendations to clients.
  • Verify and confirm that the offer received from the distributor or vendor includes all components needed as per approved design.
  • Provides awareness of solutions and product knowledge and technical acumen to sales team.
  • Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities within customer firms. And collaborates with sales to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered.
  • Monitors customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process, and alerts the sales and account teams to potential risks of deal closure.
  • Advise whether the opportunity requires a POC and define the guidelines of the scope of the POC.
  • Build long-lasting relationships with vendors and customers.
  • On-going study of trendy solutions and get all certifications required as per business needs and strategy.
  • Responsible for the implementation of Proof of Concepts and Demos at the customer lab.
  • Manage the introduction of new technologies and services into production environment.
  • Support various implementations of special and complex customer set ups.

SKILLS

  • Proven work experience in a similar role, preferably as a technical consultant or pre-sales engineer in the cybersecurity industry for at least 4 years.  
  • Strong knowledge of cyber security principles, practices, techniques, and technologies.
  • Experience with cyber security products and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM, endpoint protection, etc.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and address customer needs by designing effective solutions.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in staying up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends, threats, and best practices.

CERTIFICATION & EDUCATION

  • Preferably Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in: Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are a plus
